Meet Aaron

With twenty-one years of experience teaching high school history at Niles North High School in Skokie, I bring the same enthusiasm and passion I have in the classroom to support students in achieving their academic goals. I hold undergraduate degrees in History and Secondary Education from Indiana University–Bloomington, and I also hold master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and Special Education, in addition to a Special Education certification, all from North Park University.

My experience with co-taught curriculum and scaffolded learning has shaped my student-centered approach. I believe each student has a unique journey, and my job is to support, guide, and empower them to realize their potential. I have a deep understanding of educational strategies and resources that help make learning less intimidating. My goal is to equip students with the tools and encouragement they need to succeed academically.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and children, watching their sports and activities, and cheering them on. I also love cooking, reading, and traveling.
